Did you know these hunger facts?

• 49 million Americans are at risk of hunger

• 12% of Florida residents struggle with hunger

• 29% of children in the U.S. under the age of 12 are hungry.

• Florida is the 19th richest state but ranks 48th in help to the hungry.

Corporate Commitment Actions:

• Thanksgiving Dinner: feeds over 300 people on Thanksgiving Day.     

• Food Angels: Twice a year we provide lunch for Habitat workers building houses in Dade City.

• Annual Lenten Soup Supper: homemade soup and bread with prayer and alms donated to the food pantry. 

• Benedictines for Peace: The Sisters and Oblates are members of this organization committed to prayer and action for peace.

• AIM (Alliance for International Monasticism):  The Sisters and Oblates are part of AIM's Monastery to Monastery program with special ties to African Benedictines.
